Rukia, Brother, Ah Beng and Capman. Person missing (who is actually the one taking the picture), Adik.I am so damn stoned.
2 hours of sleep, stayed up all night till morning to be sure I wasn't late in meeting the guys. Turns out I was the earliest, even when I had to go to Woodlands to draw money and come back. First came the Capman then came Adik and finally the Brother, who ironically, was the one who lived pretty much closest to Kranji. Ah Beng joined us much later after we were done waiting for an hour to get past JB's checkpoint. Whilst waiting for time to pass and not to be reminded we were in a stagnant moshpit, we took turns playing miniature golf on Capman's mobile phone. First stop once we passed through was FOOD and WATER and of course, the forbidden (which will not be named).
Bought tickets to catch Ghost Rider (which was pretty awesome in a cliched blockbuster kinda way and rekindled my love and adoration for Nicholas Cage all over again. omg, his body is incredible la) at 3plus and waited for the Ah Beng to rendezvous with us. We ate, at Secret Recipe where we had the most sinful of desserts ever. The brownie (with token vanilla ice cream) was incredibly moist and warm. It literally melted in our mouths. I had Chocolate Indulgence which was a very sinful indulgence. I can see the pounds inch their way back on me. The Brother ordered his own moist chocolate cake which was... mmm... very moist.
Lunch aside, time to catch the show. Capman advised me the night before to bring a jacket because the cinema was freezing. Thank god I heeded it. I looked like Kenny tucking myself into my hoodie and trying to stay warm, if not, remotely alive. We walked around the complex (no idea what it was called) after the show, dropped by the arcade where we raised eyebrows at the youths (and their odd fashion sense) and did a little bit of window shopping.
Then DINNER!
For RM120, it was worth it. So worth it that we couldn't finish it. Steamed fish, lemon chicken, butter squid, kailan in oyster sauce and tom yam soup. All the while we were discussing Star Craft, Battlefield and Warcraft. Random anime and manga also appeared in the discussion and I know more spoilers about Bleach than I would have ever bothered to look up on wiki.
The trip to JB ended with more unmentionables and we settled to meeting up with the rest for a match of hot lead and C4. I liked the maps this time round but twas a pity I had to head back because my body was crying out for rest. So here's where I am right now.
It was an incredible experience and I hope that we get to do more of this in the future. Movie, food and good company. Nothing beats spending your day than with friends. :) And thanks guys, for inviting me along.
On a final random note, the lady at the Singapore immigration checkpoint asked if I was 16. It's the hair la. Must be the hair. Shaves off at least 4 years my actual age. ;)
Adik and I.
Ah Beng and Capman.
Rukia and the Brother.
And that was how big the Indulgence was as compared to the brownie.
Hurray to brownies!
Chocolate Indulgence. I want this for my birthday cake.
I'm not kidding when I say the brownie was damn shiok. Just look at his face.
And the game that saved our lives.
The crowd, that killed us all.
Adik and I.
Capman and the Brother. Today (or rather yesterday) was the Capman's birthday! The ironic part of finding out his birthday was when the Brother was writing down his birthday on the card and Capman said "Feb 4th!" and mentioned something else about LT's lead's birthday. After which we kept guessing Capman's birthday and then finally found out it was 19th Feb. Cue in a second pause and then we realised it was his birthday today/yesterday!"Eh guess what, I went to JB on my birthday last year too!"
Keep the tradition alive yo!
2 hours of sleep, you can already see how shacked/tired/dead/stoned I look.
I can't remember what Adik was doing, waving the immigration card around. Haha but so cute like innocent little boy. Awww.
This, was part of dinner.♥ Lin
